Cliff Akiyama

Cliff is a Licenced Pediatric Behavioral Specialist in Philadelphia working with youth in the cross-sections of the juvenile justice and behavioral health systems. Cliff is also Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) and Board Member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League where he previously serviced as the president of the chapter. Cliff previously had a career in law enforcement as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. Cliff received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and his MA in Criminology and MPH from the University of Pennsylvania.
