Emily Liu

Emily is a New York-based mental health counselor working with Fresh Path NY where she provides individual, couples, and group therapy via telehealth. She received her MA in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University. Additionally, she holds a NY state-approved Certificate in Sexuality, Women, and Gender with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ issues in counseling. She practices from a trauma-informed, person-centered approach. As a child of immigrant parents, she understands how mental health struggles often go unnamed in Asian American communities and aims to provide a warm, empowering space for people to grow and learn.
