Joy Chen

Joy Chen is a LPC Associate supervised by Audrey Omenson, LPC-S. She is a former English Language Arts teacher. Joy obtained her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Joy has worked in community mental health centers treating depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and grief, and adjustment issues. Joy works with individuals ages 6 and older, holding special interest in working with young adults experiencing intergenerational conflict and racial trauma. She draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches and theories, including psychodynamic, person-centered, family systems, and attachment.
