I am a Child-Centered Play Therapist informed by Attachment Theory, Depth Psychology, Expressive Arts and Interpersonal Neurobiology. Play occupies a unique space between our internal experience and external reality that allows us to integrate self concepts that may be in conflict with our outer speech/behaviors. I provide a protected, accepting and creative environment where I meet a child right where they are. I witness and collaborate as kids play out experiences and explore emotions to resolve hurts and experiment with new ways to get their needs met. I partner with parents to examine family functioning to enhance caregiving.
