Kathie Ahn

I'm Kathie (she/they), I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, that identifies as an Asian American, queer, non-binary person. It's been difficult to find therapists that reflect marginalized experiences which is what called me to this work. I operate through an embodied, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, intersectional feminist lens. I use Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, body awareness, cognitive-behavioral, existential, and narrative therapy approach to achieve self-compassion and understanding of one's mental health and well being. Each individual is unique and different therefore treatment will be tailored to your needs.
