Kayi Hui-Spears

Dr. Kayi Hui-Spears is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland. She earned her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a first-generational immigrant, her bicultural experiences have shaped her clinical interests in cross-cultural adjustment, identity exploration, trauma/PTSD, body image and disordered eating, and career development of women and racial minorities. Dr. Hui-Spears currently provides individual and group therapy in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She strives to co-create a safe and affirming space with her clients to foster emotional healing and lasting change.
