Melody Chu

A native Texan, Melody was born and raised in Houston, TX. She received a B. A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She would go on to complete her master’s degree in biblical counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. Melody believes therapy is useful for everyone but not every therapist may be a good fit. She values the therapeutic relationship between counselor and client, seeing it as the foundation for change and growth. She most often practices CBT and SFBT. Melody is most excited about helping people connect with their thoughts and feelings in order to produce desired behavioral changes and growth.
