I am a queer person of the South Asian diaspora (any pronouns with respect and kindness are welcome), a guest on occupied Ohlone territory. My ancestral roots come from present day India and Pakistan. I am fluent in Gujarati. I am trained in psychodynamic, Gestalt and transpersonal therapy. I am trained in Brainspotting modality as well.
My work is centered on the belief that everything in the past is linked to the present moment. Pulling from Buddhist psychology and trauma-informed somatic experiencing, I work with each individual to heal trauma in the here and now so that energy can be naturally re-directed to the most important things.
