Sharon Huey Coles

I am a 5th gen Chinese American born and raised in the East Bay with family roots in Oakland Chinatown. I identify as cis-gendered female, am in a heteronormative relationship with a multiracial partner, and a parent of a young child. My therapeutic approaches are attachment-based for couples/families and respectful/mindful parenting. I am also familiar with 12-step recovery groups incl. Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA). I enjoy exploring racial identity issues, social justice work, re-parenting esp. when it comes to being a parent, integrating faith and feelings, and intergenerational trauma.
