Shirin Ali, MD

Dr. Ali graduated from Swarthmore College with a double major in comparative literature and biology. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, she completed her residency and Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital in 2009 and served as chief resident. She worked as an inpatient attending at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and is in private practice in Greenwich Village. She continues to teach medical students and supervise psychiatry residents in psychodynamic psychotherapy. In her clinical practice, she works with many Asian/Asian American patients.
